There is also an abundant salt industry. Flamingo are found all around the island, especially on Pink Beach. The capital of Bonaire is Kralendijk. Food in Bonaire is exceptionally good with specialties in both seafood and Italian dishes. Local sightseeing includes Arawak Indian cave paintings at Boca Omina.
